Eastern Michigan HOME Shirt Design
The Eastern Michigan University HOME Shirt was created for the incoming freshman of 2019 as a welcome gift. The concept behind the shirt is to tell a story of Eastern becoming home to students while representing EMU's visual brand.
Eastern Michigan's 40th Undergraduate Symposium T-Shirt Design
I created the 40th Undergraduate Symposium Shirt for Eastern Michigan University. The isometric theme illustrates students being put on a pedestal for their hard work on the projects they had showcased. I worked with VGKids printing company in Ann Arbor, MI to produce this graphic t-shirt for the students who participated in the Undergraduate Symposium.
Campus Life Department Brochure
This informational brochure highlights the best of the Campus Life department and is designed to be passed out at orientation events.
Fast Track Orientation Booklet & New Student Checklist
Incoming EMU freshman received this booklet during their Fast Track Orientation. This book worked as a guide to help students get acclimated to Eastern Michigan University. I used an outline of EMU's campus as the backdrop for this event to represent a map that guides students through their new home.
EMU 2019 Welcome Weeks
This poster design was made to showcase a series of activities and events that Welcome Weeks at EMU has to offer. I wanted the schedule to be a fun read while still being visually appealing and easy to understand.

Social Media Posts
I created various social media posts highlighting upcoming events to recruitment ads. All designed material stayed within the EMU branding parameters while adding my own style.
Virtual Speed Friending - Social Media Posts and Illustrations
I branded the series of Virtual Speed Friending events hosted by Campus Life. Despite the virtual nature of the semester, we wanted to continue giving students an opportunity to build new connections. Virtual Speed Friending was a series of Zoom sessions hosted by our Activities and Engagement team who provided ice breaker games and conversation topics to the students who participated. They wanted cozy, welcoming advertisements that told students they can still make new friends in the comfort of their home. Below are some examples of brand illustrations and posts we used throughout the semester.
First Three Orientation Schedule
First Three Orientation is made up of a series of events and information sessions for incoming students and their parents to attend. The detailed schedule needed to be organized in a way that could be easily read and understood. This design was distributed to students as fliers and displayed as posters, mounted throughout the EMU Student Center during this event.
The Women of Color Symposium
This event was dedicated to giving WOC a space to tell their stories through speech, song, dance, or presentation of any sort. I chose to let a textured paint background shine through the illustrations of the women, symbolizing these women telling their truths and letting their true colors shine though.
Marketing and Design Team Presentation
As the Marketing and Design Team Lead for Campus Life and Diversity & Community Involvement departments, it was my job to present to the new student staff on what the process of working with my team looked like. Below are the visuals paired with that presentation.
